I’m one of the founding editors of Toasted Cheese and editor-in-chief of the literary journal. I am also a PhD candidate in communication, currently trying to finish my dissertation.

I started keeping track of the books I read in 2005 and writing about them in 2006. I’ve been blogging since 2002 and have had a website of some sort since 1999. My very first online purchase, way back in 1997, was a book (of course).

I mostly write about writing and reading but sometimes about things like running (it’s the best metaphor) and food (it’s delicious). My hobbies include snarking and seeking the elusive beaver. (There’s one in False Creek!)
